In response to the ruling of the Edo State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, Asue Ighodalo of the PDP has reaffirmed his commitment to justice and democracy. While respecting the judiciary, he described the decision as a travesty and declared his intent to appeal.
He urged Edo citizens to remain peaceful and law-abiding, emphasizing that the legal challenge is not about personal ambition, but about protecting the democratic right of the people to choose their leaders through a free and fair process.
Mr. Ighodalo reiterated that the struggle continues in defense of the people’s mandate and the future of Edo State.
