The visit of the PDP candidate, Dr Asue Ighodalo, to Uwessan will linger on for a very long time. It was glorious in kind because of its unique engagement. Different political gladiators from other parties came to join the PDP fold.
Among the notable deflectors was a popular APC chieftain from Ewu kingdom. He is a political juggernaut, a philanthropist, a youth mobilizer and trailblazer. He is no less a person than Saintmoses Eromosele, popularly called SME.
Having resigned his membership of the APC to join the big Umbrella Family, SME came in solidarity with the Man Wey Sabi, Dr Asue Ighodalo, to formally join the Party in a grand style at the LGA level. However Sunday the 9th of June, 2024 has been fixed by Ward 8 to receive him formally in his Ward.
This dynamic young man, according to the PDP Head of Media in Esan Central LGA, Arc Victor Olearie, “SME is young man who is a man political wits, flowering words and mobilising wisdom”.
With few words, SME captured the whole essence of his joining the PDP.;
“I have to join forces to work to produce the right and most competent Esan man to be Governor.” SME said.
He had a warm embrace with Dr Asue and was received into the PDP by Mr Matthew Ebhotemen on behalf of Dr Aziegbemi.
