Among the of political candidates in the forthcoming Edo 2024 Election, Dr. Asue Ighodalo stands out as an essential staple — much like salt in every household. Just as salt enhances the flavors of our meals and preserves our food, Dr. Ighodalo’s leadership promises to enhance the prosperity and stability of Edo State.
The high demand for Dr. Ighodalo’s candidacy across Edo State, from North to South, is evident among the Edo people who believe in his capacity, sagacity and suitability for the gubernatorial office. This belief is deeply rooted in his impeccable pedigree and proven track record that dwarfs that of his fellow contenders for the keys to Osadebey Avenue. The people see in Dr Ighodalo a leader whose vision and competence are as indispensable as salt in their daily lives.
In stark contrast, other candidates struggle to garner a fraction of the trust and demand that Dr Ighodalo easily garners. One contender, who notoriously confused a museum with a zoo, underscores a troubling lack of awareness and preparedness for leadership. Another, who benefitted from zoning to rise to prominence, now hypocritically argues against zoning to Edo Central, revealing a self-serving inconsistency that the electorate cannot ignore.
Dr. Ighodalo’s campaign is straightforward to sell because it is built on a foundation of trust and reliability. His leadership is not a luxury but a necessity for those seeking effective governance and progress. The people of Edo can easily recognize his value, much like the universally acknowledged need for salt. With Dr. Ighodalo at the helm, Edo State can look forward to a future where prosperity and stability are as assured as the presence of salt in every kitchen.
